This movie has the same likability and charm as the first film, but with a better villain, better action, better special effects, etc. It's just a better movie than the first. Once again, the character Peter Parker is once again one of the most likable characters in cinema history. He's extremely likable, funny, and we enjoy seeing him having fun and doing good. The other characters are also very funny and likable. It's a very fun popcorn movie to say the least. There were some flaws though like it's still pretty cheesy, and J.K Simmons character, although hilarious, can get pretty annoying at times, but it was still a great, great movie. My favorite scene was when Spider-Man and Doc Ock are fighting on the side of the building. It's fun, action packed, and you can't look away for a second as you are entranced on what the heck's gonna happen. There were a few flaws in the movie as well, but the biggest is probably the subplot of Spider-Man losing his powers at times. It's just a clever way of having a subplot involving Spider-Man and isn't done very well. It slows down the movie and feels lazy. Even still, it's a great film. The absolute best thing about this movie besides Peter Parker is probably Doc Ock himself. He get's obsessed with trying to finish the experiment by robbing from banks. That makes Doc Ock more than just a regular bland villain, it shows why he does the evil things and with a realistic reason, unlike the original with The Green Goblin turning the way he did by just coming in contact with various chemicals. So, yeah, this movie is the best of the trilogy by FAR. I would recommend it to anyone who liked the first film. One of Marvel's best.
